Examines and/or processes personnel actions using experiencein applying personnel procedures and policies applicable to Base, Formal,Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF), and Civilian Training Programs.Possess thorough knowledge of military andcivilian personnel training program procedures and data systems, to include,but not limited to: Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS) and DefenseCivilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), Advanced Distributed Learning System(ADLS), Career Development Student Assistance/Registrar (CDSAR).


·Implementand manage training programs, policies, and procedures as directed by higherheadquarters.

·Develop,implement, and manage base-level training policies and procedures.

·Coordinate,compile and disseminate training policy and program changes with installationcommanders, supported units, and MAJCOM training managers.

·Respondto requests for training support by identifying available training resources,and coordinating with other sources

·Assistwith developing training plans, schedules, documentation, and evaluationprocedures supporting unit operations, mission priorities, and CFETPrequirements

·Collectand analyze trend data, by unit and assigned AFSC, and provide recommendationsto commanders.

·Briefthe installation/wing commander/command chief master sergeant on the status oftraining

·ConductStaff Assistance Visits as requested by unit commanders

·Conducttraining meetings

·Instructthe AF Training Course (AFTC) and train authorized personnel to teach thecourse.

·Ensures personnel records are compared withsource documents, transaction registers, and management products; submitsupdates as needed.

·Verifies personnel record information isupdated, as necessary, in MilPDS, DCPDS, ADLS, CDSAR, and personnel records.

·Ensures personnel records screened for propertraining status.

·Ensures course quotas are requested; trainingprocesses are monitored; and records of course attendance, withdrawals,completions, and costs are maintained.

·Ensures training progress is monitored; problemareas are identified; causes are determined; corrective actions arerecommended; and, when necessary, counsel is provided.

·Ensures training documentation is maintained.

·Ensures the Job-Site-Training/Distance Learningprograms are maintained.

·Ensures training requirements are screened,validated, and forecasted.

·Assists with the On-Base Testing Program asneeded, to include: proctoring AU/A4/6 exams, computer-based and hard copytesting and other Distance Learning e-exams.

·Coordinates and schedules programs (to include,but not limited to: training, briefings,etc.).

·Maintains data, and provides statistical reportson programs and operation.

·Some receptionist or other clerical duties maybe performed, to include: Preparing andprocessing correspondence, reports, forms, and personnel data systemtransactions: operating office equipment (e.g. fax, photocopy, or scannermachine); helping customers, and answering telephones.

·Maintains files of correspondence, directives,instructions, and other publications.

·Assists in general housekeeping of common areasand work area/center.

·Performs additional duties as assigned inaccordance with contractual, functional and mission requirements.

·Working conditions may include performing jobrequirements under certain time and resource constraints, in a very fluidenvironment. The work is primarilyperformed in an office. The employeefaces everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautionsrequired in an office setting. The workarea is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.


·The work is sedentary. Generally, the employee performs workcomfortably seated; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, andoccasionally carrying of light to medium weight items such as computerequipment (i.e. CPUs, monitors, scanners, printers), office supplies, books,and publications. No special physicalability is required by the work. Must beable to lift 10 lbs.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may besubstituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relatedexperience required.


·Military Education and Training oradministrative/personnel experience required.


·Computer Skills required

·Knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word,PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook)

·Ability to type 25 words per minute

·Detail oriented, capable of multitasking

·Knowledge of military education and trainingpersonnel systems and procedures
