The Intern works closely with the branch staff to be exposed to every aspect of consumer lending. The intern will assist with accounting, administrative, and clerical tasks.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet, assist and solicit potential customers

  • Work with branch staff to perform various support tasks – data entry, data compilation, organization of source documents, processing of customer’s financial information, financial statement preparation, correspondence with clients and other duties as assigned

  • Administrative duties as needed—answering phone, filing, preparing reports, and transaction documentation

  • Collections; calling customers in regards to past due loan payments

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment

  • Some travel may be required.



  • Actively enrolled in a college or university

  • College junior or above; Pursuing a business related degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk, Management, etc.)

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Effective project management and organizational skills

  • Quick learner and good judgment

  • Self-starter who can multi-task and handle multiple priorities.

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Punctuality and regular attendance required

  • Prior internship work experience (preferred)
