* Job Summary * :

The Quality Professional is responsible for interfacing withlocal supply base and conducting supplier control activities to include audit,source inspection, oversight of supplier root cause corrective actionactivities, and other tasks as directed by management to ensure that supplierscomply with flow down requirements and deliver conforming product.

* Responsibilities * :

  • Monitor performance of an assigned supply base.

  • Schedule and conduct of supplier surveillanceactivities to include full facility audits as required to ensure that thesupplier remains in compliance with TMLS requirements.

  • Execution of source inspection activities.

  • Management of root cause and corrective actionactivity at suppliers to ensure timely and effective resolution of notedsupplier system or product non-conformances.

  • Population and maintenance of electronic recordsused in support of the supplier surveillance and control activities.

  • Periodic reporting of supplier, issue, or project status as directed bymanagement.

Qualifications

* Education * :

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical related fieldof study.

* Position Requirements: *

  • 3 – 5 years experience as a Quality Professionalin the manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints /schematics, specifications and engineering requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to utilize CAD and measurement tools.

  • Must be able to work independently
